Staff First Aid Training

The training and development of our staff is important to us . First Aid Training is an essential part of our mandatory training and recently Nova stella first aid came and delivered a training day for us.

Did you know that every member of our staff team undertakes their Level 3 Paediatric first aid training?

Children’s safety is at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about ensuring all staff are trained, confident and capable.

Maidenhead Defibrillator Campaign

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Maidenhead and ICON Gym Maidenhead are fundraising to get a defibrillator installed outside the nursery.

30,000 people die each year from out of hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), 620 of these are people under the age of 35 and 270 of these deaths happen to children within schools. If defibrillation takes place within the first three minutes of a SCA, the patient’s chances of survival increase by upwards of 80%.

We have set up a Fundraising Page and our total to date is £575. We will be hosting a number of events in due course to raise money for our defibrillator. This will serve not only our nursery, ICON Gym members but also the local community.

World Cup Fever

We love to incorporate current events into our teaching and learning. The children at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Maidenhead have been getting excited about the world cup. We have been learning about different flags, naming the countries and their colours and patterns.

Our everyday learning experiences support fine and gross motor skills, which are important to overall development

Staff Appreciation during December
