Monkey Puzzle Maidenhead makes parent parking easier with additional car spaces
Bigger drop-off buggy store also alleviates wait time
Maidenhead, 23 October 2019: Monkey Puzzle Maidenhead has rented out more parking spaces to allow parents to drop off and pick up their children with more ease.
Prerna Shah, owner and manager at Monkey Puzzle Maidenhead, said:
“We know that parents need to be able to access their child’s nursery quickly and efficiently, which is why we’ve taken this step to facilitate a smoother pick up and drop off. We are the only nursery in the area to have this amount of parking on-site. It’s an important aspect of the nursery that our parents really value.”
The buggy store at the nursery is due for expansion as well. With the nursery next to the local train station, parents can leave their buggies in the drop-off zone for the day, before hopping on the train to work. With greater buggy capacity, more parents will be
able to enjoy the convenience of the ‘drop and collect’ system before and after their working day.
Prerna, who is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Education, has been running the Monkey Puzzle Maide
nhead nursery since November 2018 and has her own children enrolled at the nursery.
“A lot of people who come in recognise my children as mine straight away! It’s wonderful to see them interact with the other children and many parents appreciate the fact that they attend here as well – they know I have a vested interest in the setting and will deliver an exceptional level of care to each child, as I do to my own”, she said.
“That’s the joy of being on-site every day – I’m involved in every aspect of the nursery, from lunch serving to reading time, and my staff and I work as a team to make sure every day is fulfilling and exciting for each child”, she added.
Monkey Puzzle Maidenhead also offers parents an app called ‘ParentZone’, which records a child’s daily diet, activity, learning and sleep pattern. In this way, parents can live their child’s day with them, and continue to learn about and experience their development, even when the parents are not there.
“As a nursery owner, I’m always thinking as a mum, and I know how day-to-day development is a precious thing. The parents here love the ParentZone app, it’s been a real hit.
“We want all of our parents to feel that they are part of their child’s growth, regardless of where they are.”
